Is it really necessary to have a Winter Mesh Cover for the closed seasons?

There are two reasons to use a Winter Pool Cover during the off-season. First and most importantly, covering your pool saves lives. It is one of the most important safety precautions a pool owner can take. Second, by covering the pool you are significantly limiting the amount of dirt and debris that can invade your pool during the off-season and thereby tarnish the pool’s finish.

How long will it take to heat my pool once I turn the heater on?

As a general rule, your pool heater will raise the water temperature of the pool one degree per hour.

Our eyes are stinging after we swim. Is this too much chlorine?

It is difficult to determine any water chemistry issues without a proper test of your water. Your eyes stinging may be an indication of mal adjusted pH, but in order to know for sure it is best to arrange for service visit so that we can make sure that proper adjustments are made to your pool water.

The surface of our pool has become rough over time. Is there a solution?

Sanding the surface of a rough pool can sometimes improve the feel. However, it is also possible that your pool may need resurfacing. In order to provide you with the best solution, a technician can come to your home, evaluate the problem and work with you to determine the best course of action.

My pool seems to lose/use water every day, what is normal and why?

There is a normal amount of water that most pools will lose every day. Common evaporation should be anything up to half an inch per day. If you see that you are losing more water than that give us a call.

My pool is suddenly losing water fast, what should I do?

Immediately turn off all pool equipment at the local circuit breaker panel. Then call our team and we will provide further instruction.

My pool is running 24-hours per day, 7-days per week. Is this best?

It may seem like turning your pool on and off depending on its usage makes more sense, but in terms of water filtration, running your pool 24/7 is actually a more efficient way to maintain your pool, and it is the best way to maintain a high level of sanitization. New pumps are available now with variable speed functionality and technology is constantly improving in ways that make pool equipment even more efficient. My pool/spa is not equipped with a computer system. Can one be installed?

Yes, our team can install a Jandy system with the necessary valves and remote controls.

Can a pool be made deeper, shallower, longer, a different color or shape?

Yes. We can make almost any change that you want to an existing pool. If you already own a pool and want to make design changes, or enhance areas of the pool (size, shape, depth, etc), we can definitely take care of that, as well as any changes you may want to make to the surrounding pool decking and landscaping.

The pool deck I have is uneven and unsightly. Can this be improved?

Yes.  Pool decking solutions have changed vastly in the last few years, and there are many new solutions that will enhance the design of your pool, have greater wear and tear, and require much less maintenance.
